Breville BJE200XL 700-Watt compact Juice Fountain Review

Rating: ★★★★½

If we could give it a name, it would probably be the “mother of all juicers”. And for good reason. You can juice literally any juicable thing, its fast; it looks cool, its easy to clean and its mess free. Really, if you juice often, the Breville BJE200XL 700-Watt compact Juice Fountain is the way to go. Before you go for it, let’s have a look at what you’ll find:

      1. Whole carrots, beets and small apples, pineapples (even with the rind on), strawberries; if it can be juiced, this juicer will do it for you. Most juicers are limited to what they can juice by the blades and the motor, but this one comes powerful enough to juice almost any kind of fruit that does not have a pit in it.

      2. It will get you your juice in less than 10 seconds – actually make that 5 if all you’re looking for is one cup. Its super fast.

      3. Maybe you are into technical details? It’s super fast because it has a 700 watt motor that gives 14,000 rotations per minute. You can see how you get that cup of juice in 5 seconds flat.

      4. It’s easy to clean – those hard to reach parts are not so hard to clean any more because it comes with its own specially designed cleaning brush.

      5. If you don’t want to hand wash it (which takes another 5 seconds after you’re done washing) you can throw it into the dishwasher – its dishwasher safe.

      6. The feed tube is large – no need to chop up your fruit or veggies before you feed them into the juicer. A whole, large size carrot will fit easily, sop you can begin to get the idea.

      7. The basket is easy to remove – you don’t need an extra appliance as with most other juicers in the market.

      8. The inner design is well thought out – it has a dual knife assembly, which centres your fruit or veggies, chops and minces them and then forces them against the stainless steel mesh. Its squeezes them all out, giving you more juice in an instant. The left-over fibre in the mixer is practically dry of juice.

      9. It can juice fruit that has hard rind on it – yes, you can get your pineapple in there for a fresh glass of pineapple juice.

    10. Lastly, the space age design is space saving. It has a small footprint which means it will take up minimum space in your kitchen. And best of all, its good-looking. It’s likely to give your kitchen a face lift.

Your morning glass of juice just got easier with the Breville BJE200XL 700-Watt compact Juice Fountain. If you like your juice really fine, with absolutely no fruit sediment at all, you may not like this juicer so much – it leaves in just a bit of sediment, which is good roughage for your digestion anyway. Otherwise, not much else to look out for when it comes to this one. Its $100 well spent, and it will last you a long time. It comes with a 1 year warranty on parts by the way, so you can be sure you are not getting a lemon (no pun intended :) ).
