Jack Lalanne’s Power Juicer Express Review

Rating: ★★★★★

Jack Lalanne is at it again, and this time his Jack Lalanne’s Power Juicer Express is yet another brilliant juicer. Jack Lalanne, as you may know is the ultimate fitness enthusiast. And more than fitness, he knows the benefits of a healthy diet. A healthy diet must of course include lots of fruits and vegetables and he made sure, when he designed his range of juicers, that he left us no excuse not to have our daily recommended servings.

So what does this juicer have that makes it just the thing to have in your kitchen?

  1. It comes power packed. At 3600 RPMs, that’s crush and speed that gives you a glass of juice in about 5 seconds.
  2. It can juice fruits whole – no need to chop and dice which is a time saver. The feeder chute is large enough to take in a good sized apple. And because of the power that it packs, a whole fruit will come out as well crushed and well juiced as if it went in diced.
  3. It comes with efficiency. Efficiency, when it comes to juicers, means how much juice you get in your glass as compared to how much is left in the pulp. With this one, you get 30% more than the average juicer in the market. The resulting pulp is much drier. And Jack Lalanne is big on re-using pulp by the way, so make sure to find out ways in which you can use that pulp to make meals more nutritious.
  4. It comes with a separate pulp collector – no need to stop during juicing to get pulp out.
  5. The blades and the mesh come in stainless steel, a quality that any good juicer must have. Stainless steel means that you don’t ever get rust – and if you have a juicer that shows any signs of rusting, get rid of it. Rust is bad for your health.
  6. It is designed to get your juice out cool. Most high RPM juicers tend to give you juice that is warm because it gets churned around quite a bit during the juicing process. Jack Lalanne designed this one so that despite the high RPMs, you still get your juice cool enough to drink right away.
  7. It comes easy to clean. It comes apart easily and you can throw the different pieces into the dishwasher – they won’t melt.
  8. It’s quiet; many juicers are really noisy – you almost cannot have a conversation while juicing but not this one.
  9. It comes with a recipe book “Secrets of Juicing” as an added bonus – you’ll discover all the different things you can do with fruits and veggies to make juices more nutritious and delicious.
  10. The design is pretty cool – he calls it the slimline design. Its smaller and will fit comfortably on your kitchen counter. It has a pretty nice looking finish too.

So what’s not to like? Believe it or not, nothing. There is nothing negative or that doesn’t work well with the Jack Lalanne’s Power Juicer Express.  It will cost you a tad more than other regular juicers in the market at around $150, but you will live to love it; it will do everything it promises, and you’ll have it for quite a while. Actually, I would recommend it for juicer sceptics, those who have been disappointed before – give this one a shot and you’ll realize that there are actually some good juicers out there.
