The Jack LaLanne PJP Power Juicer Pro is a device designed to extract juice from fruits and vegetables. The unit is made of stainless steel and comes with a powerful motor which makes 3,600 rotations per minute. This product has received customer ratings placing the overall product at a three and a half star out of five overall rating.

The various customer reviews for this product seemed favorable with some minor disadvantages. One customer found the extraction chute extremely hard to clean. When the unit was taken apart for routine cleaning the pulp and juice ran down the inside of the base, which was corrected with the addition of an O ring.

A few customers had bad experiences with the machine overall in its general performance. Several people stated the unit stopped working after a brief period of time, while one specifically stated it started smoking during use. In general the customers who gave this product a negative review felt the internal parts were of cheap quality.

Many customers did like the machine as a juicer because it worked with the majority of foods they placed in the hopper. They did mention that foods which were heavier such as potatoes, would have a tendency to gum up the inside mechanism so they had to be processed in small quantities. Another common issue was with the pulp not always getting into the bin where it was supposed to end up. Often people had the base and blades covered with the pulpy material, which needed to be cleaned before further use.

Overall, the reviews indicate the unit is difficult to clean and care for, the spout is positioned too low to place a beverage glass under, and the unit has a habit of overheating and not working. This product receives a medium rating from those who have used it, which makes it a somewhat risky purchase.
