Jack Lalanne’s Power Juicer Pro Review
Rating: Rating:

Jack Lalanne decided to up his game and give the world a better, more powerful, better looking juicer. The Jack Lalanne’s Power Juicer Pro is supposed to be better than the Jack Lalanne’s Power Juicer Deluxe. It will juice your fruits and veggies alright, but it might be a bit of a stretch to compare it to big brother Jack Lalanne’s Power Juicer Deluxe. Before we make up our minds, and so that we can fair to the Power Juicer Pro, let’s have a look at its features:
- At 3600 RPMs, it will give you fresh juice fast. With Jack Lalannes, what most people are looking at is speed so you can trust it to deliver on that. Translated by the way, it means that you can have your glass of fresh juice 5 seconds after popping the fruit in the juicer.
- It comes with a large feeder tube, an advantage for any juicer. It means that you don’t have to pre-chop your fruits or veggies; throw them in whole and you’ll get your juice just as good.
- It comes with a stainless steel blade and mesh filter. Stainless steel is a must for a good juicer – it means you never have to worry about rust.
- It’s a quiet juicer – most juicers create a racket just crushing and juicing a bit of fruit but this one wont.
- It comes with a separate pulp collector – you can juice non-stop as the pulp is collected and just throw it out or save it for soups afterwards.
- It’s easy to put together and take apart. And its dishwasher safe too – the removable parts, though they may take up a bit of space in your dishwasher, will not melt.
- It looks good – like many appliances made of stainless steel, it will enhance the décor in your kitchen.
So what’s not to like?
The motor; it could die out on you even on the first use. It has been reported to grind to a halt by so much as juicing an apple. Now, with the motor being the engine of a juicer, this is really something that cannot be overlooked. You need a juicer that can run endlessly because it has a powerful motor made of durable parts. This one won’t.
It also doesn’t strain your pulp as well as they promise – lots of juice gets thrown out together with the pulp. And it can be leaky and messy as well.
And what’s worse, there is very poor customer service. If you do manage to get through to them on their customer service number, you are not likely to get much help.
